MEET MICHAEL
I was born in Alpena, Michigan. My parents had 8 children, 4 girls and 4 boys. We were brought up to be frugal. "Don't spend what you don't have".
My wife Tammy and I met in high school in 1974. We have been married for 44 years. We have 3 children, one beautiful daughter and two sons. God has also blessed us with 5 beautiful Granddaughters.
My wife and I relocated to Saint Ignace Michigan in 2002 for me to assume the position of manager at Griffin Beverage Company. I held that position for 21 years. I also had the opportunity to service Mackinac Island and met many great people including business owners and managers. One very important thing I learned in those 21 years is how to NOT spend others' money.
My wife and I decided to move to Gaylord in 2022 to be more centralized to our children and Granddaughters. We love what Gaylord has to offer.
I have decided that it's time to get involved to help with local decisions. The taxation system is broken. Too often the business community and local residents are forced with higher taxes. This puts increased pressure on an already stressful tax burden onto many people. This must end! "Don't spend what you don't have"
I am asking Bagley Township residents for your support in August
